What’s in store for you at the Student Startup Challenge?

The Student Startup Challenge is here to guide you through the process of launching a startup in just one weekend. Collaborating in teams, we will guide you in developing new ideas and transforming them into viable businesses. We’ll teach you the essential steps and prepare you to pitch to our panel of judges for a chance to win some fantastic prizes! This event is run in collaboration with Fish on Toast, the University’s Entrepreneurship Society

Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Gain knowledge from our experienced Student Enterprise team and business professionals
• Pick up essential skills for launching and running successful, customer-focused, and resource-efficient businesses
• Dive into real-world customer discovery, gaining hands-on insights to sharpen your critical thinking and decision-making
• Boost your pitching skills to master the art of storytelling, making sure your ideas stand out to key stakeholders
• Meet likeminded students the University – maybe even meet someone with the perfect skills to complete your startup team!
• Discover how to bring your ideas to life during a fun, action-packed weekend! There will be a drinks reception on Friday night, and we will provide dinner on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Student Startup Challenge will take place over the weekend from Friday 14 November to Sunday 16 November.
