Incredibly honoured to be named a 2024 Diana Award recipient!

The Diana Award, established in memory of Princess Diana, is the highest honour young people can receive for driving social action and humanitarian efforts.

Impact is never made alone and no accomplishment is ever the result of just one person. This recognition is a testament to the inspiring work of the incredible team at Mind Health For Medical Students. Together, we’ve built a movement to support mental health in the medical community, reminding every medical student and junior doctor that your mind matters too.

It also celebrates the strides we’re making in health equity, through incredible organisations like UAEM (Universities Allied for Essential Medicines) , Students for Global Health, and the applied anthropology team at UCL, ensuring everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Thank you to the Diana Award & Dr. Tessy Ojo CBE for this extraordinary recognition, and thank you Sara Campin for your continued guidance and mentorship.

As a medical student, I found the Student Enterprise programme invaluable—not only in growing initiatives like the national charity Mind Health for Medical Students and my business Supple Health, but also in gaining essential, transferable skills that will benefit me throughout my career. Programmes like this are so important for medical students because they provide a foundation in business acumen, marketing, and leadership—critical skills that are often not covered in traditional medical education. Most doctors will find themselves managing a team as consultants, running private practices, or diversifying into other roles throughout their careers. These transferable skills are vital in preparing us for those realities, helping us become well-rounded, effective leaders in any setting.

Here’s to continuing to build a healthier, more equitable, and compassionate world together 🌍💙”
