Two alumni of the University of Southampton’s Foundership programme, myTender.io and Novatura, recently joined another six companies to become the 13th Catalyst Programme cohort at Southampton Science Park,
with the goal of accelerating their businesses and expanding their industry impact. The Catalyst programme is an intensive, six-month business accelerator designed to fast-track early-stage science and technology companies in the Solent region. The programme is fully funded and successful applicants benefit from high-impact mentorship, weekly workshops, and access to a prestigious office-space within Southampton Science Park. Founders have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a supportive innovation community, connecting with industry experts and like-minded entrepreneurs to propel their businesses forward.
myTender.io, led by University of Southampton students Jamie Horsnell and Samuel Aaron aims to revolutionize the construction and facilities management sectors with AI-driven software that streamlines tendering processes, by cutting response times by up to 75%. Novatura, founded by 5 University of Southampton Computer Science graduates, Thomas Mitchelmore, Max Taylor, Niall Morrison, John Baker, and James Harcourt, is a B2B software development and consulting firm, offering bespoke cloud solutions to companies looking to innovate or scale but lacking technical resources.
The Catalyst programme equips companies like myTender.io and Novatura with essential tools, connections, and strategic insights, laying the foundation for scalable, impactful businesses. Having benefited from the University’s Foundership programme support, both companies are now ready to delve deeper through Catalyst’s rigorous curriculum, hoping to solidify their company’s growth trajectory and refine their paths toward success.
