Crystal Brook fun!

The Junction community started 2006 with a whole pile of fun.  Families and couples got together at the picturesque Crystal Brook Park at Cardinia Reservoir, to catch up and begin the New Year with community.

The kids were in their element with an adventure playground and it wasn’t long before the cricket set came out and the successors to Ponting, Gilchrist, Warne and McGrath were exposed for their lack of skill.  Enthusiasm was far from lacking in the beautiful bushland setting, with a lovely summer day adding to the scene.  Add the air-powered rocket for those not quite adept with bat or ball and there was something for everyone!

The spectators to this match took the time to share stories and catch up with events and happenings with other Junction members, utilising the shade and making the most of all that a great Aussie BBQ brings.  It was all very casual, very Australian and a whole lot of fun!  Couldn’t ask for a better way to start the year.
